Inter-brand DOGBOWL Competition 2011

On the 31 October 2011, Team BTS SG, held an Inter-brand competition at the East Coat Park, Extreme Skatepark. The Champion of the Bowl competition gets to design his first Signature Board and his title as the Bowl champion for a year.
Now, let the pictures do the talking.
Hell yeah! We had a blast that night. But after a good match and killer rounds. The judges had made the clear winner in the team.
Competition Format:
Four individual runs lasting one minute each, a fifth and final run is a Jam Session lasting 5 minutes. Competitors are awarded points for their style, speed, difficulty of the tricks, tricks that are landed will be awarded points, tricks that are not landed will not be taken into consideration. Points are also given to competitors who use the whole bowl and not just the common areas which most skaters use.
It came close between Adi and Raemiy, each scoring huge points from dropping in from the high walls and big air tricks that are landed by the two bowl warriors. After deciding on the final scores, here are the final results:

3rd – Chap
4th – Fareez Rahim
5th – Halfease

Next year, we hope to have a more challenging competition that’s full of big air tricks, off the wall tricks, more speed, style and full of fun. Maybe we’ll crown a new champion next year or maybe the champion knocks off next year’s competitor and claim his second round of bragging rights and bags more prizes and his second signature board. We’ll only know 12 months from now.
